WHERE. Bluff Creek Camp Campgrounds, 44 Wilcox
Road, Kenilworth, Queensland

WHEN. On the weekend of Saturday 7th to Sunday
8th of October 2017. Your hosts will be arriving on Friday
6th.
GETTING THERE. From the Bruce Highway drive off
exit 224 and follow the signs to Kenilworth. From Kenilworth follow
the Kenilworth Brooloo Road for about 4.7km, then turn into Wilcox
Road. After about 300 meters, take the first gate on the right with
a big sign out the front.
CAMPING. We will be camping in an area together on
100 acres of rolling grounds fronting both the beautiful Mary River and a
permanent creek with campsites located for maximum privacy and space.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.
There is no need to book.
If you would like to attend just add your name to the
form provided. The address of the form can be found in message
82478 within the
Australian CamperTrailers
Yahoo Group, the Australian
CamperTrailers forum under the Upcoming Events heading or in the
Australian
CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing Bluff Creek into the search this group
window.
ON ARRIVAL
please let the owners know you are with the Australian
CamperTrailers Group to receive a group discount. You will then be
directed to the campsite location.
NAME TAGS.
If you have a name tag please bring it along.
CAMPING FEES.
$10 per person per night.
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
GENERATORS
are permitted.
WATER. There is drinking water available.
CAMPFIRES. Campfires are allowed in the fire
places provided.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along.
Firewood is for sale at the office for $20 a bag.
TOILETS. There are flushing toilets.
SHOWERS. There are hot showers included in the
fees.
DOGS. Dogs
are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.
RUBBISH. There are rubbish bins provided.
ACTIVITIES.
Swim, fish, hike or explore the region with cheesemakers, wineries, markets and
beaches all within a leisurely drive of the property.
HAPPY HOUR.
Please bring a plate & a drink along for happy hour at 3pm
Saturday afternoon.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
