YOUR HOSTS
for the weekend will be Geoff & Pauline who will be arriving on the
Friday morning.
WHERE. Lake Wallace Recreational Area,
Wallerawang, NSW.
WHEN. On the weekend
of Saturday
13th to Sunday 14th March 2021.
GETTING THERE. From Lithgow follow the
Great Western Highway west & at approx. 14kms turn right into Barton
Avenue towards Wallerawang. At approx. 1.8km turn right into Lake
Wallace Recreational Area.
CAMPING.
The group will be camping in the area marked on the map below. After
entering the recreational grounds through the front entrance please turn
right. After a short distance veer to the left & drive past the playground
where you will find the proposed camping area on the left.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.
If you would like to attend for the weekend or the day please register on the form provided
so your hosts know who is coming. The address of the form can be found within the Australian
CamperTrailers forum in the Upcoming Events section or in the
Australian
CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing Lake Wallace into the search this group
window.
ICE BREAKER.
Two weeks before the event an ice breaker will be sent to your
nominated email with up to date information. Please confirm your
attendance.
ON ARRIVAL you are required to fill out
a Lithgow City Council online Lake Wallace campground covid19
registration form found on the council website at
https://council.lithgow.com/lake-wallace-registration
Information from the registration may be provided to NSW Health for
covid19 contact tracing purposes only.
CAMPING
FEES. Camping is free.
POWER. There are no powered sites.
CAMPFIRES. Campfires in containers
only.
AMENITIES. There are flushing toilets
and showers which could be locked from 4pm to 7am because of
ongoing vandalism.
PORTABLE TOILET. Please bring your
portable toilet with you as the facilities are locked overnight.
DRINKING WATER. Taps with drinking
water are within the playground area. You will need a long hose if
you want to fill your drinking water tank.
GREY WATER. All grey water must be
collected.
DUMP POINT. There is a dump point
within the grounds near the amenities.
DOGS are welcome & must be on a lead at
all times & droppings collected. There is a leash free area in the
recreational area.
RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with
you.
ACTIVITIES. Please bring a drink & nibbles to the
centre of camper for happy hour on
Saturday afternoon at 4.00pm. Sorry no shared plates.
INFORMATION. Lake Wallace is ideal for
use of all non-powered water craft.
It is only a ten minute walk into Wallerawang town centre for
a meal or extra supplies.

Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
