manning
point weekend
Saturday 17th to Sunday 18th February, 2024
Eighteen groups from the Australian
Camper Trailer Group gathered at Manning Point for a get together of
members. A few mosquitoes managed to attend and it was interesting to
see how different members reacted to them. We all joined together
most afternoons with the Saturday afternoon 4.00 pm attended by all.
Fires were lit and members joined in providing food and cooking over
them.
It was great to see two of our co-owners making the trip with Kevin
travelling over 6 hours from the South Coast, and Jason and Sue from
Southern Sydney. Rob and Carol were a late withdrawal as they had a
funeral to attend. We also saw a few new members attend. Frank and
Sue (a great rendition on the Bag pipes), Lis and Steve hope you
enjoyed the weekend.
The venue at the Weeroona Caravan Park under new ownership catered
for a large number over the weekend, but as always the amenities
block was immaculate. A number of boys tried fishing however I
didn’t see or smell the results on any of the fires provided.
Greg and Louise called in on the Saturday and it was great to see
Louise in good health and back to her normal self.
