Soon to be released onto the market & a new design in off road hitches is the Ozhitch from Norm Hudson. The new patented designed Ozhitch is a simple drop in hitch with a self aligning cradle to position the two halves.

One of the biggest advantages of the Ozhitch is in the ease of connection. All you need do is lower the jockey wheel and the self aligning cradle positions the two halves of the hitch for a perfect alignment to insert the pin. There are two locking mechanisms and they only take one hand to operate leaving the other hand to operate the jockey wheel height.

The hitch's design allows for 85 degrees of movement up and 70 degrees in a downward direction while allowing a full 360 degrees swivel.  Shock absorption is provided on all connecting surfaces  by the use of Ertalon bushings, an extreme quality type of nylon. The low profile and side entry of the pin  will allow the rear doors on station wagons and utilities to swing clear of the highest point of the hitch. The Ozhitch is hot dip galvanising for superior corrosion protection and boasts a 3.5 tonne capacity.

The Ozhitch will be available very soon with an introductory price of $287. Details of the hitch can be seen at www.ozhitch.com
