arrangements have been made for members to camp at the nearby Bielany

name to the online attendance form

in the poll two weeks before the meet. Please reply to
confirm your attendance.

Communal happy hour will be held at the Upper
Colo Reserve at 4.00pm on Saturday Please bring your table, chairs, nibbles &
drinks along to the center of the camping area for a combined
happy hour, meeting those you have not chatted with so far over the
weekend.

THE ROAD. There is some well graded gravel road.
GETTING THERE. Head up the Putty Road from Windsor. Around 25km
from Windsor turn left just before the Colo River Bridge and then left onto
Upper Colo Road. Follow this road over two bridges & you will find the gates to
Bielany on your right straight after the second bridge with a blue cross on the
road approx 2.6km from the Putty
Road.
CAMPING. We will be camping on Bielany, a 40 acre semi wilderness
recreational, picnic and camping ground managed by the Polish Community of
Sydney & located on the banks of the picturesque Colo River approximately 80 km
north west of Sydney.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. Please
add your name to the attendance form provided. The address of the form can be
found in message 81609 within the
Australian CamperTrailers
Yahoo Group, the Australian
CamperTrailers forum under the Upcoming Events heading or in the
Australian
CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing Bielany in the 'search this
group' window.

CAMPING FEES. $15 per vehicle a night plus $5 per
adult. Children under 16 years are free.
PAYMENT.
Please pay your camping fees to George. If you arrive before your hosts just let the caretaker
know you are with the CamperTrailers Group.
NAME TAGS.
If you have a name tag please bring it along.
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
WATER. Please bring your own drinking water.
CAMPFIRES. Small campfires are allowed in the fire
pits provided.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along.
CAMP KITCHEN. Daily
use of Kitchen $30 for group bookings
TOILETS. There are flushing toilets.
SHOWERS. There are hot
showers.
DOGS are welcome & must be kept on a leash at all
times.
RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.

To get to the Upper Colo Reserve travel
around 10.8km along Upper Colo
Road & turn into Colo Heights Road crossing over the wooden bridge. Turn left at
the Telstra Tower into Hulbert Road, then veer left at the "Y" intersection to
enter the Upper Colo Reserve.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together. If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet. |
