YOUR HOST for
the weekend will be Gregory & Angela.
WHERE. On the private property of Jodie Golds, 29
Jackson Lane, Yatala, Queensland.
WHEN. On the weekend of Saturday 2nd to Sunday
3rd of December 2017. Your hosts will be arriving on Friday
1st.
GETTING THERE. Take Exit 38 on the Pacific Highway at Yatala &
follow Stanmore Road roughly west for approx 2 kilometres & turn
right into Pagan Road. After approx 1.6 kilometres turn right into
Jackson Lane. After approx 0.2 kilometres down Jackson Lane you will
come to some farm buildings, veer right before
the buildings & follow the track down to the river. See map
below.
CAMPING. We will be camping on a private property,
an ex-dairy farm with grassy flat ground on the banks of the Albert River.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.
There is no need to book.

Australian
CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing Yatala into the search this group
window.
ON ARRIVAL
Please give your camping fees to your hosts on arrival. The correct
money would be helpful.
CAMPING FEES.
$10 per site a night.
PLEASE NOTE.
You need to be totally self sufficient.
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
WATER. There is no drinking water available.
TOILETS. Please bring your own portable toilet.
SHOWERS.
Please bring your own bush shower.
CAMPFIRES. Campfires are allowed in the fire
places provided.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along.
Firewood is also available at the farmhouse on the property.
DOGS. Dogs
are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times & droppings
collected.
RUBBISH. You will need to take your rubbish with
you.
ACTIVITIES.
There is a pontoon on the river with good opportunities for fishing, crabbing,
kayaking or swimming. Beenleigh is only a short drive away.
HAPPY HOUR.
Please bring a plate, drinks & nibbles along for happy hour at 3pm
Saturday afternoon.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
