GETTING THERE.
Cadell is located approximately 165kms north-east of Adelaide and is accessible
from the West/South West by either, the Sturt Highway turning off at Blanchetown
or, via Kapunda, Eudunda and on to Morgan crossing the river by the ferry
(operating 24/7). Cadell is 12kms from Morgan on the North West Bend.
GOOGLE MAPS.

2.0 hours from Gawler heading north.
THE ROAD. Sealed to within 500 metres of the

CAMPFIRES. A campfire and camp ovens will be
allowed subject to Fire Bans. Currently the fire season is due to finish on 30th
April, 2010. However current thinking is that the period will be extended into May. If
this is the case -gas will only be permitted. However the recreation ground has
a fully set up kitchen which may be made available at a modest cost, should we
require it.

off site and brought in by road.

ACTIVITIES. No activities have been planned for the
weekend.
• Visit the Cadell Interpretative Centre and explore the local history.
• Explore the Graeme Claxon Reserve with its spectacular cliff back drop.
• Walk the Wetland Trail – currently “drylands” but still worth the walk.
• there is a short walk to the main street and other points of interest!
• The adjacent Trail threads to bird hides by the lagoon, and then onto the
Murray River.
Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more
than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
