WHERE. Camp Cobark provides camping accomodation on Cobark Station, a fully operational cattle
station situated 34 kilometres west of Gloucester, NSW in the eastern foothills
of Barrington Tops http://www.campcobark.mcjr.net

WHEN. On the weekend of Saturday 21st to
Sunday 22nd May 2016.
GETTING THERE.
From the northern end of the main street in Gloucester, Queen Street, turn left
into Park Street. Just outside of town the road is named Thunderbolts Way.
8 km from Gloucester continue straight ahead onto the Scone Road. Thunderbolts
Way turns right to Nowendoc & Walcha.
14.8 km from Gloucester veer right up the hill at Copeland. Do not go through town.
30 km from Gloucester at the T intersection turn right.
34 km from Gloucester you will see the Camp Cobark sign on your left & the gate
entrance.
CAMPING. We will be camping in a large open
paddock next to the Cobark River with amenities nearby.
THE ROAD is tarred except for the last 10 km which
is well formed gravel. There is a long steep pull up Copeland Tops after
the township of Copeland with a long steep descent on the western side. Please use engine
braking on the descent to avoid brake fade.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If
you would like to attend just add your name to the

ICE BREAKER.
An ice breaker email will be sent to your
nominated email address two weeks before the weekend. Please confirm your
attendance.
CAMPING FEES.
$20 per night for couple/family &
$10 per night for a single.
PAYMENT.
Please give your camping fees in cash to Rob & Carol on arrival.
NAME TAGS. If you have a name tag please bring it along.
POWER.
There are no powered sites.
PHONE.
There is no phone reception.
DRINKING
WATER. There is drinking water
available.
CAMPFIRES are allowed.
FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along.
Firewood can be purchased on the property.
TOILETS. There are flushing toilets.
SHOWERS. There are hot shower available.
DOGS are welcome & must be kept on a leash at all
times as this is a working cattle property.
RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.
Come sit & relax with a bunch of like
minded people. Check the modifications others have done to their camper trailers
to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might meet as complete
strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such is the
camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper
are more than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a
particular camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind
the typing. You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
HAPPY HOUR.
Communal happy hour at 3.00pm on Saturday. Bring your table, chairs, nibbles &
drinks along to the center of the camping area for a combined
happy hour, meeting those you have not chatted with so far over the
weekend.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together. If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
