Greenup Meeting Place weekend

Members & their friends are invited to attend the next members weekend at Greenup Meeting Place

If you wish to attend please add your name in the form provided.

An ice-breaker e-mail will be sent to the address you have registered your interest on the form two weeks before the meet. Please reply to confirm your attendance.

YOUR HOST for the weekend will be Rick & Carol.

WHERE. Greenup Meeting Place, 40 Greenup Limevale Rd, Coolmunda, near Inglewood Qld. https://www.greenupmeetingplace.com.au/

WHEN. From Thursday 11th to Monday 15th April 2024.

GETTING THERE. From Warick take the Cummingham Highway west for approx. 90km & turn left into Stanthorpe Inglewood Road. After approx. 8km the Greenup Meeting Place sign is on your right with the gate to property just after.

CAMPING.
We will be camping adjacent to Bracker Creek where water levels can vary as this is a tributary to Coolmunda Dam an irrigation dam. Not all sites are creekside but access for all to creek.

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. There is no need to book. If you would like to attend just add your name to the form provided. The address of the form can be found within the Australian CamperTrailers forum under the Upcoming Events heading or in the Australian CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing 'Greenup' into the search this group window.

 

 CAMPING FEES. $15 per person a night - under 10 years free.
Please pay at office on arrival.

CHECK-IN TIME is between 2pm to 4pm - flexible. Arrival must be before 4pm.

CHECK-OUT TIME is before 10am - flexible.

POWER. There are no powered sites.

WATER. Please bring your own drinking water. Non-drinking water is available.

CAMPFIRES. Campfires are allowed in the fire places provided.

FIREWOOD. Please bring some firewood along. Firewood is also available at $25 from the office. You can collect firewood on the property with your chainsaw.

TOILETS. Toilet facilities available.

SHOWERS. There are hot water showers.

DOGS. Pets are permitted, but must remain at camp at all times, on a leash to walk & must be cleaned up after.

RUBBISH. There are rubbish bins provided. 

ACTIVITIES. Plenty to do around the property including birdwatching, boating, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, swimming & photography. Local sights https://www.greenupmeetingplace.com.au/things-to-do

WORKSHOP. Please note there is a workshop run by property owners on Saturday entitled 'Move, Munch and Make' at $65 a head. Please nominate on the attendance form if you wish to attend as positions go quickly. More information on this by ringing Shelley 0428 179 459 

HAPPY HOUR. Please bring a plate & a drink along for happy hour at a time to be arranged.

You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing. You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.

Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.

If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
