www.campertrailers.org website now ten years old

Hi all,

The www.campertrailers.org website is now ten years old & has built up into a fantastic resource on everything camper trailers thanks to the generous contributions of articles & photos by members. The website receives around 50,000 unique visitors a month who create around three million hits.

This makes it a little different to other forums where the same common questions seem to get asked on every page. The campertrailers.org website provides a link to some very useful information not only for members, but for other forums or those seeking answers to camper trailer or camping related questions in general.

The campertrailers.org has three communication fronts, the long running Yahoo Group which was started in 2001 & has over 7000 members, the Facebook Group which has been running for 18 months & has over 1600 members & the recently setup forum as an alternative to Yahoo & now has 390 members.

Happy Birthday, forum! And thank you Rob for your tireless work. I have seen other volunteer organisations collapse dramatically when leaders who donate their time so tirelessly retire; the most recent example close to me was a Triton woodworking club.
