bad back

Post by shambells » Mon Jun 09, 2014 9:07 am

hi all I have a campomatic on road hard top, just wondering if anybody have heard or seen of a way to open up a hardtop easier as I havs a back injury and lifting the floor over is going to be a bit hard. the campomatic has no side struts or a boat winch on it and I spoke to the campomatic in Brisbane and they said it would cause more trouble by putting these on. is there a elect open aids to lift & lower the floor as I love camping and don't want to give it up. please help

Hi shambells,

I cannot see why it would cause problems as the Campomatic Ranger XTC is demonstrated with a remote controlled 12volt winch system to aid packup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3ft1ICkAC4

Hi Shambells,

You may need to have a pair of gas struts fitted to aid opening. You can see how easy they make opening this Cub. It also has the Ezy Wind system to help in closing it up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovPbZ8SDILs
