MDC T-Box v4 v GIC Alpha

So, I am after a new budget camper. Lots of bells and whistles for not to much money. The guys are ExploreOz suggested I come over here and ask.

These two are my current picks:

Based on normal show prices they are both about the same price, I think, at a bit under $8000.

I have seen lots of old stories about GIC that suggests to keep clear, but nothing really recent, and nothing about the Alpha. On the other hand, I have not really seen much at all about the MDC.

Does anyone have any first hand recent experience with either?

Appreciate the help. Plan on going to Eastern Creek this weekend to buy something, just not sure which one yet.

And what sort of deal should be expected at a show?

Certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

Suggest you see who will let you hire one for a weekend so you can play with it before putting down any dollars.

well my friend has the MDC the hot dip gal modal and no drama with anything but saying that I have a Leisure matter one and no dramas either and i payed $1000 less. i guess have a really good look as only some of the CIG are build here as MDC imports them all I think..
