Vehicle Safety Recall R2407 Y61 Patrol 2001-2003

I received a Safety Recall Notice in the mail yesterday. Apparently Takata. the Passenger Airbag Supplier to Nissan for the Y61 Patrols in the 2001-2003 grouping, are concerned that the Front passenger airbags have been manufactured out of specification.
This means that excessive pressures can be produced during the deployment process in an abnormal fashion, during filling of the bags in a crash situation.

The inflator housing may rupture, and scatter metal fragments with the potential to cause occupant injury.

Please call your nearest Nissan Dealer and book to have this potential problem rectified cost free.

In my case there is only a driver airbag, so I was not required to visit a dealer, however I am concerned those of you who have the front passenger air bags need to get the problem sorted ASAP.
My concern is that some of you may get missed by their recall program.
