Hi
This could be a stupid question but I would like to make the tailgate kitchen from my camper trailer removable and it currently has bullet/barrel hinges with a grease nipple. I have tried to simply lift it off its hinges but it didnt seem to budge.
Does anybody know if this type of hinge can be a lift off type or how it holds the pin in place? If not any suggestions on the type of hinge i should weld on to make it removable.
I would attach an image if i knew how but here is a link to a similar hinge.

Thanks in advance
Chris

Hi Chris
Mine lift off but you will a fair amount of suction to overcome when you try to lift.
Suggest you unscrew the nipples so air can replace the vacuum when you lift or whack an air compressor onto the nipples.
