campertrailers website 15 years on the net

Hi all,

This month sees the www.campertrailers.org website fifteen years on the net. The website has grown into a valuable resource for everything camper trailers thanks to the generous input by members. It is fascinating to see how simple solutions have been adopted in overcoming problems to make camping life all the more enjoyable.

We are always interested in adding your articles & ideas to the pages of the campertrailers.org website, in particular the tech tips page. This gives members an idea of what skills & tools are needed to complete a project. If you would like to write an article for the website please feel free to drop us an e-mail at owners@campertrailers.org

The website is the homepage of the Australian CamperTrailers Yahoo Group which was started in 2001, the Australian CamperTrailers Forum & the Australian CamperTrailers Facebook Group. The three medias provide a place for members to chat, free of commercial advertising, pressures or promotion of any kind.

If you would like to chat camper trailers, travel or just camping in general, you will find you are right at home with a bunch of like-minded people. Members come from all walks of life, but have a common interest in the great outdoors. Hope we can exchange experiences & learn a little from each other.

The groups members own a wide selection of camping accommodation ranging from swags, tents, box trailers, camping trailers, slide-ons, on & off road caravans, right through to converted buses, as well as on & off road camper trailers of all makes & models.

There are regular members weekend get togethers where camper trailer owners can meet & exchange ideas. You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper are more than welcome to come along & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular camper trailer from their owners. You might meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such is the camaraderie. The details of weekend get togethers can be found http://www.campertrailers.org/upcoming_events.htm
happy camping
