Hi all, I have a question...maybe a dumb question... I have a Customline on-road camper and want to travel to Birdsville next year. Will the on-roader handle the dirt road from Windorah to Birdsville and back? I don't do 4X4 with it but will it handle the graded dirt road (I know there will be corrugations!). Should I beef up my suspension on the trailer?
cheers

Re: Brisbane to Birdsville
Should be able to do it easily.
We travel out there every year.
Just drive to the conditions. Plan on roughly 6 hours travel time for Windorah to Birdsville.
It’s a Very Stony road so make sure any plumbing and anything else under the trailer is protected from likely stone impacts.
Trailer may suffer a sand blasting from the stones unless you take precautions.
Cheers

Thanks Kevin, You have eased my mind somewhat. I expect the trailer to take a bit of beating, I just don't want to be that bloke with a busted spring on the side of the road!
Thanks Again
