Canungra weekend 2022 write up

Hi all,

The first Australian CamperTrailers Group members get together for the year was held at the Canungra scout camp in SE Queensland hosted by Greg & Lisa. Please find their write up added to the past events page http://www.campertrailers.org/canungra22_weekend.htm

Seeing Australia Day was mid week Greg & Lisa decided to extend the meet from the weekend & into the week this year.

As a gesture of good will the Australian CamperTrailers Group helps the scout den out while there by volunteering to mow & whippersnip one morning around the buildings within the grounds. This is not compulsory.

We would have liked to have come, we are mainly cool weather campers, but also, we have gone to ground, due to the BS, that's happening. Will really only be camping locally,, at this point in time. Any other trips you have set up, we will consider, in relation to weather and virus issues happening nearer to the time.

This is the only Queensland weekend get together that is a regular event, most other Queensland meets are usually short notice when I am notified by the hosts. NSW have regular weekend get togethers on the same weekends each year.
