Newbridge weekend

Members & their friends are invited to attend a CamperTrailers Group weekend at Newbridge NSW

If you wish to attend please add your name in the form provided.

An ice-breaker will be sent to the e-mail address you have registered your interest on the form two weeks before the meet. Please confirm your attendance.

YOUR HOSTS for the weekend will be Geoff & Pauline.

WHERE. Newbridge Showground, Trunkey Street/Three Brothers Road, Newbridge, NSW.

WHEN. On the weekend
of Saturday 25th to Sunday 26th March 2023.

GETTING THERE. Newbridge is 34km from Bathurst & 52km from Orange. Depending on which way you have arrived at Newbridge, from Newbridge Road or Caloola Street, turn south into Trunkey Street & drive approx 380 metres. Turn right next to the large three door garage. 

CAMPING. The group is permitted to camp on the oval or under the shade of trees further around behind the garage.

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If you would like to attend for the weekend please register on the form provided so your hosts know who is coming. The address of the form can be found within the Australian CamperTrailers forum in the Upcoming Events section or in the Australian CamperTrailers Facebook Group by typing 'Newbridge' into the search this group window.

ICE BREAKER. Two weeks before the event an ice breaker will be sent to your nominated email with up to date information. Please confirm your attendance.

 

ON ARRIVAL Geoff & Pauline will be arriving on the Friday.

CAMPING FEES
are by donation only.

POWER. There are no powered sites.

DRINKING WATER. Drinking water is available.

SHOWERS. There are no showers.

TOILETS. There are flushing toilets.

DUMP POINT. There is a dump point at Henry Street, Blayney 15 minutes away.

CAMPFIRES. Cooking fires are allowed & only in fireboxes off the ground.

DOGS are welcome & must be on a lead at all times & droppings collected.

RUBBISH. Please take your rubbish with you.

ACTIVITIES. Please bring a drink & nibbles to the centre of camp for happy hour on Saturday afternoon at 4.00pm. 

AT THE SHOWGROUND there is a tennis court available for members to use. You will need to bring your own rackets.

IN TOWN the Gladstone Hotel provides meals as well as tea & coffee.
There is a craft shop & a museum.

Come sit & relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such is the camaraderie.

You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper trailer are more than welcome to attend & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing. You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.

Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together. If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
