YOUR HOSTS
for the weekend will be Sean.
WHERE. Kremer Park, Lime Street,
Portland NSW 72 hour maximum stay camping area.
WHEN. On the June long weekend
of Saturday
8th to Monday 9th June 2024.
GETTING THERE. Portland is approx. 25km
northwest from Lithgow. Drive west along Williwa Street which is the
main street in Portland & turn south into Lime Street. The entry to
Kremer Park is found approx. 200 metres on the right.
CAMPING.
The group will be camping in the large grassed area.
MAKING ARRANGEMENTS.
If you would like to attend for the weekend please register on the form provided
so your hosts know who is coming. The address of the form can be found within the Australian
CamperTrailers forum in the Upcoming Events section or in the
Australian
CamperTrailers Facebook Group pinned to the top as a featured post.
ICE BREAKER.
Two weeks before the event an ice breaker will be sent to your
nominated email with up to date information. Please confirm your
attendance.
CAMPING
FEES Camping in Kremer Park is free.
POWER. There are no powered sites.
DRINKING WATER. Drinking water is available.
SHOWERS.
There are no showers.
TOILETS. There are flushing
toilets. Council policy is to lock the toilets each evening.
Please bring your own portable toilet.
DUMP POINT. There is a dump point
within the grounds.
CAMPFIRES. Fires are allowed in
fire boxes off the ground.
FIREWOOD. Please bring your own firewood.
DOGS are welcome & must be on a lead at
all times & droppings collected.
RUBBISH. Bins are provided.
HAPPY HOUR. Please bring a drink & nibbles to the
centre of camp for happy hour on Saturday afternoon at 3.00pm.
ACTIVITIES. There is a twilight market on the
Saturday afternoon featuring a great range of local crafters,
artisans & makers as well as local food providers & producers
offering a diverse selection of products. There will also be a
giant bonfire & fireworks at The Foundations, 16 Williwa St,

Come sit &
relax with a bunch of like minded people. Check the modifications others have done to
their camper trailers to make camping life all that more enjoyable. You might
meet as complete strangers on the Friday evening, but will part old friends such
is the camaraderie.
You do not need a camper trailer to attend. Members without a camper
trailer are more
than welcome to attend & get a first hand unbiased opinion of a particular
camper trailer from their owners. Come along & meet the faces behind the typing.
You are also very welcome to drop in for the day.
Please keep in mind that the group owners will not accept any responsibility
for members & non-members actions during the weekend get together.
If you decide to attend, it is solely at your own responsibility, including any
side trips or outings during the weekend meet.
