shackle pin safety

This is just a little something my step father taught me 25 years ago and is so simple. All you do is put a bolt through the hole of the pin of the shackles that secure your trailers safety chain to vehicle, and put a couple of nuts on the bolt, you can get away with one if you wish.

As we all know those pins always seem to tighten in transit and are dam hard to undo and you usually end up skinning  your  knuckles and then end up undoing the thing with pliers anyway.

This little idea does away with all that and makes it safe & quick.
