There have been a few queries as to what size battery is required to run a 12volt compressor fridge. It is not a simple answer as there are a number of factors governing how much power is used to keep the preset internal temperature.

While not being too technical I hope this article explains the workings of a 12volt compressor fridge & how to easily find out the fridges power consumption using a watts up meter, along with a few tips & tricks & rules of thumb to get the best out of your fridge & battery when camping.
