						WHEN. From Monday 20th to Friday 24th September 2021. 
						WHERE.
						Walcha Showground, Walcha, NSW.
						 
            
            
            GETTING THERE.  Walcha is 
			located on the banks of the Apsley River in the south-eastern edge 
			of the New South Wales Northern Tablelands at the intersection of 
			the Oxley Highway & Thunderbolts Way.  
			 
			
            DISTANCES. Walcha is 414km from Sydney, 
			506km from 
Brisbane, 1234km from Melbourne & 1557km from Adelaide.  
			WALCHA 
			SHOWGROUND. 
			The showground is located to the north of town on Thunderbolts Way, 
			renamed Derby Street in Walcha. 
			ARRIVAL TIME. 
			Gates to the Walcha Showground will be 
			open from 10am on Friday 17th September. There is no public camping 
			in the showground. If you arrive early there is 
			the nearby Walcha Caravan Park. 
			LEAVING TIME. 
			Members need to vacate the showground by
			Saturday morning 25th September as the Walcha Pony Club will be arriving around lunchtime.
			 
			MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If 
			you would like to attend please register via the 
			online attendance form. 
			You will receive an email to your nominated email address to confirm 
			your registration.  
			COST.  
			The cost is per camper trailer regardless of the number of 
			people. If you stay for seven nights you only pay for six. 
						
			Powered Sites. $25 per 
			night 
						
  
						Unpowered Sites. $20 per night 
			POWERED 
			SITES. 
			Please consider your power requirements as there are only a 
			limited number of 10amp power outlets available. An
			
			Ampfabian or 
			similar
			
			JayCar 
			adaptor
			or the
			
			Ampsafe from Bunnings is needed to connect your 15amp van inlet to 
			the showgrounds 10amp power outlet via a 15amp lead. Power for medical reasons will be first taken 
			into account, the rest will be on a first in basis. Please tick the 
			appropriate box in the online attendance form.  
			POWER LEADS. Please 
			bring your long 15amp leads & ensure your power lead 
			is presented in a safe usable condition. All leads are 
			only to be used in one continuous length from the outlet to the camper trailer 
			or caravan. No illegal made up 15amp to 10amp 
			adaptors are to be used.   
			GENERATORS. 
			Only to be used in extreme circumstances & only by permission.  
			CONTACT ON ARRIVAL. 
On arrival into the showground please give Rob, Kevin or 
			Jason 
			a call (calling campertrailers) on channel UHF18. 
			PAYMENT. 
			Camping fees are payable to Rob & Carol on arrival. The correct money 
			in cash would be 
			helpful. You will then be directed to a suitable campsite. 
			ADMIN FEE. 
			There will be an admin fee of 
			$10 to cover the cost of the 'showbag' which contains a 
			commemorative national meet sticker & the printing of lanyard 
			style name tags holders, 
			laminated camper ID sheets, itinerary & attendance sheets etc.  
			FIREWOOD. Firewood will be supplied for the week. Don't forget your block splitter. 
			 CHAINSAWS. There will be a firewood 
			working bee each afternoon. 
FIRES only to 
be lit in containers. Half forty-four gallon fire bins with be provided. You are 
more than welcome to use your own fire container or pig etc. 
			WATER. 
			Town drinking water is available. 
 
SHOWER. Hot showers are available 
			in two amenities blocks. You are more than welcome to use your own 
			bush shower. 
TOILETS. 
There are flushing toilets in four amenities blocks.   
			WHEELCHAIR 
			AMENITIES ACCESS. 
			There is wheelchair access to a disabled shower & toilet. 
			DUMP POINT. 
			There is a free dump point at the Council Works Depot at 120 North 
			Street. There also has a dump point at Walcha Caravan Park on the 
			Corner of North & Middle Streets. There is a fee if you are not 
			camping there.  
			DOGS must be kept on a leash at all times & droppings collected.  
			RUBBISH 
			Bins will placed around the showground in a position so the garbage 
			truck can empty them on Thursday morning.  
			 
			LAUNDROMAT Walcha Caravan Park operates 
			an excellent coin operated Laundromat, installed in 2014 with new 
			machines and dryers. The Laundromat is available to the general 
			public.
