at Eugowra NSW

Members & their friends are invited to attend the group's 17th national meet

please fill in the attendance form found under the making arrangements heading

 

WHEN. From Monday 25th to Friday 29th September 2023.

WHERE. Eugowra Showground, Eugowra, NSW.

GETTING THERE. Eugowra is located in Central Western New South Wales on The Escort Way, 40km east of Forbes & 80km west of Orange.   

DISTANCES. Eugowra is 336km from Sydney, 1008km from Brisbane, 732km from Melbourne & 1050km from Adelaide. 

EUGOWRA SHOWGROUND. The showground is located in Noble Street. From Escort Way, renamed Nanima Street & Grivillea Avenue in town, turn east into Pye Street & travel approx. 1 km, then turn right into Noble Street. The entrance to the showground is approx 370 metres on your left. 

ARRIVAL TIME. The Eugowra Showground will be open to accept members from 10am on Friday 22nd September.

EARLY ARRIVAL. It would be an advantage for us if early arrivals could please camp in the free Byrnes Park to allow for the showground to be prepared for the week ahead & the check-in table to be set up.

The showground is a public camping area. Camping fees before the check-in time are to be paid at the Eugowra Newsagency & Supermarket at 32 Broad Street.

LEAVING TIME. You can stay as long as you like after the closing on the Friday. Eugowra Harness Racing Club will be holding the Eugowra Canola Cup Carnival with heats from Sunday.

MAKING ARRANGEMENTS. If you would like to attend please register via the CamperTrailers national meet attendance form  You will receive an email to your nominated email address to confirm your registration.

COST. The cost is per camper trailer regardless of the number of people. If you stay for seven nights you only pay for six.

 

 

Unpowered Sites. $15 per night

 

Powered Sites. $20 per night

POWERED SITES. There are a number of 15amp powered sites available. Power for medical reasons will be first taken into account, the rest will be on a first in basis. Please tick the appropriate box in the online attendance form.

POWER LEADS. Please bring your long 15amp leads & ensure your power lead is presented in a safe usable condition. All leads are only to be used in one continuous length from the outlet to the camper trailer or caravan.

GENERATORS. Only to be used in extreme circumstances & only by permission.

CONTACT ON ARRIVAL. On arrival into the showground please give Rob, Kevin or Jason a call (calling campertrailers) on channel UHF18.

PAYMENT. Camping fees are payable to Rob & Carol on arrival. The correct money in cash would be helpful. You will then be directed to a suitable campsite.

ADMIN FEE. There will be an admin fee of $10 to cover the cost of the 'showbag' which contains a commemorative national meet sticker & the printing of lanyard style name tags holders, laminated camper ID sheets, itinerary & attendance sheets etc.

FIREWOOD. Firewood will be supplied for the week. Don't forget your block splitter.

FIRES only to be lit in containers. Half forty-four gallon fire bins with be provided. You are more than welcome to use your own fire container or pig etc.

WATER. Town drinking water is available.

SHOWER. Hot showers are available in the amenity block. You are more than welcome to use your own bush shower.

TOILETS. There are flushing toilets. 

WHEELCHAIR AMENITIES. Is there wheelchair access to a disabled shower & toilet.

DUMP POINT. There is a free dump point at Byrnes Park in Myall Street

DOGS must be kept on a leash at all times & droppings collected.

RUBBISH. There are bins placed around the showground.
