community day

Wednesday is the host towns community day. The day started with a breakfast cooked by members of the Ariah Park Men's Shed consisting of bacon, egg, sausage, baked beans & toast along with orange juice, tea or coffee for $12.

After breakfast there were community stalls in Ariah Park's main street arranged by Kevin Colwill. Temora Antique Motor Club had a number of vehicles on display which added to the street carnival feel of the morning.

George Mavros hosted the annual Hardy's Vs Softy's bolle competition with the perpetual Nyngan Cup up for grabs. In a hotly contested final the soft floor camper trailers defeated the hard floors.

Barefoot bowls was held in the afternoon at the Walcha Bowling Club & afterwards most staying on for an evening meal at the Bowling Club bistro
